A life long Virginia resident Matt has been a leader in the mortgage business both as a mortgage originator as well as one of the partners of OVM Financial. Matt started in the mortgage business in 2003 and has seen all the changes in the mortgage and real estate market ever since. He balances his time between leading OVM Financial and originating loans. He has been consistently the number one mortgage originator in the Tidewater Virginia area as recognized by the Scotsman Guide Publication. In addition to this, Matt has been recognized as a top producer nationally for 6 years in a row. In the 2019 rankings, Matt was recognized in the Top 20 Nationally in New Purchase Units and Top 5 Nationally for VA loans. Matt has been featured in The Scotsman Guide as a featured originator and is regularly asked to be on professional panels as well as quoted for professional articles by numerous publications.

Matt will always make sure all of his clients and the clients of OVM Financial are well taken of. In his free time, he is a husband and father of 4 girls which keeps him very busy. He also enjoys coaching and playing soccer as well as snowboarding. He believes that Jesus is a major part of his success and is an active leader at Community Church in Chesapeake, VA.
